About the event

The Groton-Dunstable Special Education Parent Advisory Council, in partnership with the Racial and Social Justice Group, invites you to join us for a FREE WORKSHOP with disability inclusion expert Lisa Drennan of MERGE Inclusion Consulting.  This workshop will explore the ways in which we can create a culture where people with disabilities are welcomed, engaged and supported to have full and meaningful participation in our communities.  Attendees will learn about disability etiquette and language, strategies to make any activity more accessible to persons with diverse abilities, and how fostering friendship is a vehicle for inclusion.  Through brainstorming and discussion, attendees will leave the workshop with actionable next steps to make Groton and Dunstable more inclusive communities.  See you there!
