Transition planning process and how to determine transition goals on the IEP. We will learn about post-secondary educational options, keeping benefits while working, and healthcare transition. We will discuss ways parents and caregivers can encourage independence and self-advocacy in their kids.

About the event
During this PAL, we will discuss the transition planning process and how to determine transition goals on the IEP. We will learn about post-secondary educational options, keeping benefits while working, and healthcare transition. We will discuss ways parents and caregivers can encourage independence and self-advocacy in their children. Youth are encouraged to attend for separate activities on developing their vision for an adult life and a fun drum circle!
